The award-winning Bensa Gonjobe station achieved remarkable success in the 2024 competitions, earning Honey #2 in the Africa Taste of Harvest Competition, Honey #1 in the Ethiopia Taste of Harvest Competition, and #16 in the Cup of Excellence.

Farmers meticulously select ripe cherries and spread them evenly on sunbeds to dry in natural sunlight. To ensure even drying and prevent mold, fermentation, or rot, the cherries are turned over more than twice an hour for a process that lasts between 17 to 23 days.

In the cup, expect flavours of white grape, mixed berry juice, and lingering sweetness.
